Assessment and Certification of Manufacturers to Multiple Industries and Standards
Securing the parts and materials plants need when they need them through a reconstructed approach to design and reverse engineering. Solutions developed and provided are done so with a high focus on reliability, cost and schedule and target specific risks that plague the industry today in the areas of obsolescence and ‘First of a Kind’ driven requirements.
Our diligence in applying industry experience to understand the root cause of failures ensures the solutions we offer are sustaining and drive continual focus on performance improvement and equipment reliability.
Governance and Oversight
Our approach to steward solid manufacturers, fabricators and support services into understanding what it means to be a nuclear participant takes the current supply chain model to what it should be...one of education and mentoring. This positions our members to perform as extensions of plant maintenance and project departments versus contracted resources.
Why Our Approach Works
Our Manufacturing Consortium members freely share insights, lessons learned and critical elements of producing components and materials to the standards required for the nuclear community. The rate of failure and errors are drastically reduced through this approach because of the nuclear insights we instill in our team.
Consortium Stewardship Team
Greater than 85 years combined-experience as nuclear plan Quality, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Root Cause leaders and managers has enabled a team of people who know what it feels like to work in the plants and maintains strength in the nuclear-knowledge of the consortium.
INSTALLATION & TESTING SERVICES
Recurring scarcity of predictably available and qualified specialty services, particularly nuclear certified welders, pipe fitters, industry project managers and post-fabrication testers.
How the Manufacturing Consortium Can Help
We have developed the ability to leverage the nuclear grade workforce of our Manufacturing Consortium members to meet nuclear needs for augment staff and specialty services. Simply, we are able to forecast and assign resources that are available to support installation, testing or other project specific work dedicated to your project.
How Our Strong Relationships Can Help Our Organization
We can guarantee the same personnel return project after project which enables plant schedule and cost predictability and reduces the potential for human error from a workforce that is new to nuclear only once.
WAREHOUSING & LOGISTICS CENTERS
AMMI has established its first national warehousing system which enables Manufacturing Consortium members to increase production when necessary due to ample storage space. This also presents alternatives for outage and project interim storage of materials for any phase of the project or activity.
The national warehouse system has enabled development of an integrated training center locations where those skill sets necessary to support nuclear plant on-line and outage augment staff are honed. By design, this center can be customized for any training need and offers Just-In-Time-Training outlets for countless opportunities.
Develop 3 additional centers targeted for the Louisiana Gulf, Carolinas and mid-Atlantic in the next 3 years.
PARTNERSHIPS & TECHNOLOGY
Emphasis on Relationships
AMMI relies on honest relationships in all business matters and is constantly seeking and open to opportunities in teaming, partnering and joint ventures that promote job creation through the next waves of nuclear and energy growth and innovation.
